Sgt. Kevin Keitz - has been a law enforcement for 29 years and a K-9 Officer since 1987. He is currently the K-9 unit supervisor and range instructor for the Seminole Police Department, Broward County, Florida. Kevin recently retired from the Hollywood Police Department after 25 years of service. He served as the K-9 unit trainer and was an active member of the SWAT team. Kevin is a certified State of Florida FDLE K-9 Team Instructor & Evaluator. He has given instruction in a number of K-9 Seminars throughout United States as well as numerous K-9 work dog and detector schools in South Florida. In 1997 and 2001, Kevin was involved in shooting incidents during canine deploy-ments one of which resulted in the loss of one of his canines. Kevin stresses the importance of "Reality Based Training".
